MG MGA - brake work question

I'm going to replace the old brake fluid and install new cylinders on all the brakes on my 58 A (the drums and pads look ok) but I'm a little unsure on the sequence of events. Do I flush the old stuff out first? Or does that happen the second I disconnect the first line from the cylinder? And is there any secret to loosening the old bolts and connectors holding the cylinders and lines in place on the back of the brake backing plate? I've used a little penetrating oil on the outside of each and am hoping that will help. Any advice?
