MG MGA - Brake peddle/clutch peddle
As I am trying to clean things up I have been replacing the rubber cover over the brake and clutch peddle/clevis pin junction. I can't fit the pins over the hole on the peddle with the peddles already bolted in. How should this be done?

When I replaced mine the entire assembly was out of the car. Once the peddles are installed the rubber slips over top, then the mounting bracket sits on top of it. Once that is bolted down (with the exception of the bolts that hold the brake and clutch line clips) the master cyl. is installed and the peddles are connected to the M/C. Then install the last two bolt with the clips for the brake and clutch lines. Hope this helps. Kris

I am trying to cut the corner and not take out the MC, so I will try again tonight. Just have to move the rubber toward the MC along the pins, then work the bolt back through the peddles. May work, may be too tight in there.
