MG MGA - Bracket

There is a bracket with a hole in it, below the brake pipe 4 way and on the inside of the frame. What's it for?

Mine had pipe from MC and the hose to slave cylinder join in it.under brake 4way bottom left you can see pipe from MC in bracket
