MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - Z Series info required
I and my team have been given the "enviable" task of carrying out Class Verification at this Easters National Meeting on the Gold Coast in Oz. Not being familiar with the Z series MG's I have been endeavoring to educate myself with limited success. Would any knowledgable souls out there care to comment on the accuracy or otherwise of the following information...... The following models have engines up to 2 litres.... All ZR models/ZS120/ZS TD The following models have engines between 2 litres and 4 litres... ZS180/ZT180/ZT190/ZT220s The ZT 260 is the only model with an engine above 4 litres Thanks in advance Barry Grey |

The information you have is correct. However, I am not aware of a ZT220 - is this a Oz specific model (supercharged 2.5?)? Ralph |

Some ZT160 models were 2.5 litre V6, some were 1.8 litre turbo. ZT120 was 1.8 litre A ZS110 was available with a 1.6 litre engine. |

However, I am not aware of a ZT220 - is this a Oz specific model (supercharged 2.5?)? << You guess correctly Ralph - this is the Sprintex Supercharged Australian ZT190 giving a useful 220bhp with the importers blessing. Also available here as an aftermarket modification for the KV6 powered MGs. :o) |
