MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - Trackday: Donington Pk
Posted 12 February 2003 at 11:19:35 UK time Rob Bell, North London Hi Guys, just heard from Dave regarding a Discounted day at Donington. If you've never been there, I would seriously recommend it: it really is an outstanding track (the craner curves are something else!) - and the best bit is that there are huge run-offs everywhere, so nothing too nasty to hit if you did ever manage to loose it... LOL The day at Donington is going for £117 - but there are just 15 places available for the 24th August (Bank Holiday Sunday) We've got this discount through collaboration with the MX-5 and Elise clubs - so there'll be plenty of like-minded sports car enthusiasts on board (I've done this event with the MX-5 owners, and it was a terrific day, with a great atmosphere). How the day will run: The day will be run in three sessions - each session will get twenty minutes in every hour which should give plenty of track time. All fifteen MGs would be allocated the same 20- minute session. Drop Dave an email (dave.livingstone@btinternet.com) or post here ASAP. I reckon that the race lads will be snapping this up, so let Dave know to register your interest ASAP :o) |

Seven places now reserved for Donington on Sunday 24th August (Bank Holiday Sunday): Andy Gilhooley - MGF Tim Woolcott - MGF Rob Bell - MGF Dave Livingstone - MGF Steve Hill - MGF Norman Law - mgtf Mark Rawlins - ? So that leaves eight potentially - if I don't hear too much more in the next few days, I may have to give these remaining places away to another club. So come on guys - this is one of the best UK circuits at a very very keen price. Don't leave it all up to the MGF guys to carry the MG flag amongst all those MX5s and Loti ;-) Dave |
