MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - Damn Lanky Colleagues

Ok, I take a colleague of mine, who hasn't learnt to drive yet, but will start soon, to have a look at the ZR. He likes the outside, likes it inside, and then tries to sit in it. Ah - there's a problem. His knees are up by the side of the steering wheel, as if he's on a pedal bike 4 sizes too small.

Does anyone know how feasable it would be to adjust the seat runners so that the seat could be moved back a bit more?

The ZS is a bit more of a better fit, but he really doesn't want to spend much more than 10K, nor do we really want him in any thing more powerful than a 1.4 or TD ;)
