MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Where is the Flasher?

I am an old school MGB/MGC guy and have not worked on a midget since the 70s. I am currently providing some TLC to a 79 Midget. I give up- where did they hide the turn signal flasher?

Hi, Mines here on the bulkhead/firewall, next to where the loom comes into the cockpit/dashoard. US spec may be different.

Mark '74 Midget

My flasher unit is just behind the dashboard. I don't know if this is the original location but it seems like it from the way that the loom is taped up (1970 car, RHD).

Open glovebox, look up. It's the one on the right.

Where is the flasher on a 1974 MG Midget? (US)
Brian Smythia

The flasher for the 1974 should be on the firewall on the right hand side of the car, next to where the wiring harness comes through. I bought an electronic one that is designed to give an extra loud tick and moved it to the left hand side so I can hear it. I figure that I have logged about 6,500 hours in the Midget since it was new in 1971. So much for hearing anything well at this point.

Glenn: Thanks! Amazing how fast the ears go, isn't it. My poor wife she thinks I'm ignoring her all the time... It's just too many years of wind noise. :-)
Brian Smythia

Sorry....someone had to do it.......

Here he is!
I'll get my coat.....

And here I was thinking of those nice girls in Denmark (I think) encouraging motorists to slow down (although risking causing accidents due to 'distracted driving').
