MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Torque settings?

Hi all,
Mk III midget 1275.

I have checked the archives and all my MG Midget manuals & the web in general but can't find the answer.
- can anyone give me the correct torque setting for:
. ribbed gearbox drain plug
. Diff drain plug

is there a new plug gap recommendation for BP6RE plugs?
cheers & thanks all,

I always just tighten the drain whole plug so its stiff and taught... but not overly cranked... tight enough so vibration wont loosen or the fluid leaks out...if you do torque them super tight, they can be a bear to remove next time...

I seem to recall 25 ft lbs ... I dont know why I remember that spec #

There is a new debate on spark plug gaps... new spec is around 30 to 35 because of the low quality of new fuels... but spec is around 25 ???

Just so they don't leak is enough. I've never torqued either of them. They are tapers, you don't have to go mad tightening them up.
