MG Midget and Sprite Technical - The only way...
If you have a HAN7 Sprite or a GAN2, if you dual brake cylinder is damaged, don't try a new dual cylinder for the drum brake cars. You'll have a lot of issues... The only way to solve the problem is to sleeve the bores. Expensive but less than messing with the other ![]() |

mmm, perhaps you havnt drank enough of ""OUR"" ...BUDWIESER!!! so you think you can rule the world ah!!! prop |
Prop |
Prop, Budwieser actually comes from České Budějovice in the Czech Republic. Brewed, apparently, since the 11th century. First imported to the US in 1872. Some A-hole stole the name and started brewing "THe KIng of Beers" |
Ddraig G |
?? are you going to use this kind of cat piss as a brake fluid, Prop ? Well that might be a better idea than trying to drink it. I've already visited the US at least 15 times and I've never been impressed by any local beer. Those Brazilians must be crazy. Don't be offenced, I'm thinking the same of the stella. To come back to the dual brake cylinder, he's now installed but I still need to succeed fiting back the piston of the clutch slave cylinder. I think I'll have fun. |

Hey Ddraig, How do you get all these Czeck language symbols into your text? I can do it on a word document but not in an email. It's Budweiser by the way. Dave |

Sorry, My above comment is an "inside Joke" A company in belguim called "IMBEV" forced a buy out of anhusier bush...the makers of budwieser on thursday...where expecting to lose alot of jobs as a result and more damage to the USA dollar as most of the Budwieser profits goes abroad instead of staying here in the usa...thus further devaluing the Dollar even more.... budwieser is the biggest brewer here (or was) in the USA, largest political donor in usa, largest sporting events sporter in the world everything from kurling to drag racing to nascar to ping ball, and donated HUGE amounts of cash to charitys...IMBEV says inorder to gain an extra 1.5 BILLION dollars of extra cash out of BUD in the FIRST year they are going to slashe and burn all of the above as soon as the clyids dale horses are melted down and sold for glue. Luckly there is a huge bud drinker re-volt...sort of an self-imposed permenant boycott....hope it holds prop |
Prop |
By the way, the original name of that original Czech beer is Budvar :) |
Stepan Marek |
Stepan, We stand corrected. I'd rather have a pilsner urquell anyway. Dave |

But, if they do away with the Clydesdale horses, how will they make the beer? I always understood that the horse kidneys were an essential step in the process? David "you can put my beer back in the horse" Lieb |
David Lieb |
Besides, InBev is diversifying by buying Anheuser Busch... they already had a brewery, now they have Bud, too. David "make mine Guarana' Antartica" Lieb |
David Lieb |
LOL.... I always understood that the horse kidneys were an essential step in the process.....LOL That is great!!! My guess is they will use what they use in there other IMBev beers (Male hog bladders)...still attached and working "at full flow force" I understand ...lol. personally Ill stay with my wine coolers...speaking of whick I still have one left from spridget 50 prop |
Prop |
The stuff tastes like fermented p1ss anyway, I've always though of it as beer for people who don't like beer. |
Jeremy Cogman |
A very old song comes to mind: "Come have a Budweiser with me, Under the Anheuser bush" I understand that it's funny after you've gotten a few Buds under your belt... -:G:- |
Gryf Ketcherside |
Penwithian, good choice :) The difference between Bud and Budvar is similar to difference between Peugeot 206 CC and Spritget! Stepan |
Stepan Marek |
I take it, that the spridget is the budvar... prop |
Prop |
You're correct Prop but that doesnt count for the 1500...... . . . . . . hiding |
Bas Timmermans |
Poor little prop who suddenly discover that these imperialist attitudes are not reserved ONLY to US companies ... I guess that when Daimler Benz bought Chrysler, you were mad against Germans ?? I was able today to remove my clutch cylinder (Hey, I hope I can still talk about this and not about stupid insipid beers in a technical section ?) and of course the rubber died .. (must be because of the lack of quality : it's written Akron rubber inside ;)) And I also find out my ignition issues : the new replaced condenser was also bad. + 1 of the bakelite lucas cap who is showing infinite resistance.
