MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Steel Braided Fuel Line
1974 MG midget 1275cc. I just finished cleaning off the light rust coating from my steel braided fuel line that connects the two SU's (again). I have not seen a replacement line available anywhere, if anyone knows a company/distributor that has them let me know. That aside, I was thinking of spraying the line (now that it's clean) lightly with a clear coat to retard the reformation of the rust coating. Does anyone have a better idea or solution as I know the clear coat probably won't last. Thanks, Matthew

I'm not a big fan of braided hoses, they make inspection of the rubber nearly impossible, but I'm a sucker of good looks! One question, which bore do we need between carbs? 8 or 6mm.... Mark

Mark M: I love the look of REAL braided lines, not that "hot-rod" fake stuff, by closest measurement, I need a 17" (430mm) X 1/4" (6mm) line. Joe Curto didn't have it although it was a great suggestion (thanks Mark B.)! Still looking. Matthew
