MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Spridget Tuning Book - Any Good?

A bit of internet searching for things to do while my midget is in bits turned up this:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1845841425/ref=asc_df_18458414258917465?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&tag=googlecouk06-21&linkCode=asn&creative=22206&creativeASIN=1845841425

Its a spridget tuning manual. A quick preview read of it looks like its worth having but if anyone has it already and has an opinion I'm all ears.

Cheers,

Will

No brainer - buy now.
That'd be three of the world's top Spridget guys.
Just found out "wish list" on UK Amazon does not work for US Amazon!

Will,
have you ever seen mentioned on here 'you can get books on things like this' or some such

the author of that book sometimes posts here - perhaps you could get a book direct with a signiture and it'll be worth treble in a few years time (these things do happen)

I've never read it as the subject is well beyond me but a few here have copies so should be able to tell you and hopefully unbiased

Will it is writen by our "own" Daniel.
So buy the book and support his midget ;)
Go to the right place (MGlive) and get him to sign it makes him feel like a celeb ;P

I curse the day I saw an earlier edition of this bible (sorry Dan'l but...) going really cheap in a bookstall inside one of the main stands at Le Mans a few years ago and didn't pick it up. :(

So as a "non-owner" (yet!) I think it is well worth owning. Lots of really good stuff in it.

go for it

:)

Blady good book that!

Well thats about the clearest response I've ever had from a forum/BBS.

Book Ordered :-)

I thought it was a good read and had useful info.

Unfortunaly I lost my job and the Midget had to go so I now have a copy of a different edition if someone on here wants to make me an offer.

Thanks

I've got mine now but I can say it is definitely a great book to have!

good news

(and as I've not mentioned it for a while with link)

basic tuning comes from full and proper servicing and you can't progress without out that so if you can only have one book it would be the relevant (owners) Driver's Handbook - http://www.mgocshop.co.uk/catalog/Online_Catalogue_Handbooks_5.html
