Second hand MGF seats fit very nicely, someone should be able to post a picture or maybe check the archives.

had a pair of corbeau buckets in mine 22 years ago! fitted fine - used their universal sliding subframe.

got leather Fiat X1-9 seats in mine, a lucky find in a scrapyard - they're dead comfy! apparently they're quite rare :)

I had MX5 seats in mine for a while. Bolted them direct to the floor using ally spacers about 1 inch high. Very comfortable, but have now reverted to original seats for the look of them. added advantage with MX5 was the speakers in the head rests.
They are unused in my shed if you or anyone else wants them, free to a good home. You will need to collect.

I have used the classic type buckets in a few cars I have owned and have a pair at present in my MGA. Unfortunately I have never fitted a pair into a midget but I would expect them to fit without too much problem. The only issue with them is that ideally you need a seat that will tilt forward in a classic car to allow access to the area behind the seats. Not so much of a problem in a Midget but in my MGA I had to make a tilting subframe otherwise I would not have been able to store the hood behind the seats. No problem of course with a Midget.

Hi John,

I already tried to post this so I'm sorry if you have 2 messages of the same context...
Anyway, I'm 16 and with am restoring my lovely old '67 midge with my Dad...I am in real need of some seats as mine are shot!
At the risk of looking a gift horse in the mouth, I was wondering if you'd mind me asking a couple questions to save wasting your time... :
Firstly, would they fit under a hard/soft top?
Secondly, what kind of nick are they in? I've seen the image on photobucket, but don't know exactly what work needs doing to them?

Cheers!
