MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Rubber parts

Hi guys,

I'm just about to start assembling my sprite MK1 after a complete overhaul, and need to replace all the "rubber parts" non mechanical related in the engine compartment and was wondering if there are any complete kits and online distributors with all the replacements you need or do I need to by them separately?

Sorry if it sound fussy, but I'm having a hard time and a limited vocabulary regarding "engineering English" :)

After your comment re English I had to look to see you were somewhere else in the world. You have a better command of English than many here.

Anyway I think the answer is yes you will need to purchase each seperately from a hundred different suppliers, all selling the same stuff.

Alex,

Try Anglo parts. I attached a link with the search key Grommet set and found a 33 piece firewall grommet set. I bought the set myself and was very pleased with it.

Thanks Bas! what you mentioned sounds like what I'm looking for, but I'm having a little hard time locating which kit you mean since there seem to be several ones, do you recall what Art.N it had?

Well, Bob one just tries his best :D

Yestarday i could'nt spel enginer, today i is one :-)

Alex,
any imperial grommet kit will be ok for general use, i have a blanking & a through hole kit which have been very handy. Try ebay & search the shop section as well.

121.002 it is. This kit contains a bit more but is mentioned in the early midget and sprite catalogue. I had some leftovers but it did the trick.

They ship abroad, are not particularly cheap, are quick and you can order with your creditcard. The best has yet to come: they have a branche in Sweden!
