MG Midget and Sprite Technical - rev counter connections
Posted 08 August 2008 at 21:40:52 UK time AP Jones, United Kingdom on the back of the 72 midget tacho (RVC type) there is a spade treminal and a bullet terminal , which one is the coil connection ? I assume the shell is earthed via the alum knurled nuts on the fixing posts . This is going into a -ve earth dynamo charged Frogeye. Are there any other problems I should look out for ? thanks Alan |

On mine (1500) Spade by bullet = power (green or white) Bullet = coil (white with black stripe) Spade bonded to body of gauge = ground (black) |
