MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Rear Cylinder Gaskets

One last thought before tomorrows fun and games. Do people tend to put the gasket in between the rear brake cylinder and the back plate? Three reasons I ask...

1. I don't think there was a gasket there when I dismantled.
2. Rear cylinder kits don't come with them.
3. It looks a bit chocolate teapot.

But might make some up if people think they are a important.

Cheers,
Malky!

If you are using e-clips, then the addition of a paper gasket helps to hold the cylinder firmly in position. Without it, they are liable to be a bit slack even with the e-clip spring. They do help.
