the paint looks better on the pic and the chrome is a bit pitted but shes solid.

Im going to spray her in winter as its free at work, but thought as we are going to do a full job i was thinking of changing the colour! what does everyone think? its the original colour on the car re-sprayed in 1994ish. but really like damask red. Although i am feeling guilty about wanting to change her.

Looks fine to me.

As for the chrome, I use autosol metal polish on my chrome and it lifts up all but the very very worst pitting. I'm sure there are plenty of other products on the market as well.

Damask red has it's attractions however, not least it's less bright :P

looks good

if you respray another colour what about when you open the doors, bonnet and boot

keep it the same colour, bright colours suit midgets

Damask red is miserable old git or old f*rt colour more suited to other cars for elderly string back gloves, tartan rug owners

others
note my car and the fact I have a tartan rug before complaining about my comments

Great looking....is the head rest issue just an optical illusion

When it comes to color, you cant listen to anyone else, color is such an intimant personal decision, only you should and can make that call

But seriously, aside from the barbie hot pink midget id seen some time back, there really isnt a color I havnt liked on a midget

Now graphix and bizzaro pin stripping, well thats a whole new debate where friends dont allow friends to apply large full lengh dragon graphix down the side of there cars or paint there cars in hunting/military camo....yeah, we might have a riggerous debate about that if you went down that strange road. Hahaha

It does happens

note - careful with chrome cleaning polishes some are quite abrasive use a good quality ordinary car polish, at least to start with, as this is less abrasive and will probably do what you want it to do

with bumpers some damage comes from the inside out so cleaning, painting and waxoyling the inside can be a good idea

I struggle with a 15" monitor I don't even try with these phones

just saying to my wife as I look at the photos why is it some others can get such good cars for reasonable prices yet I never find them - impatience I suppose

wish I could get a free repray as my car has little colour paint left

and I've only 4 gauges - life is just so unfair

hey guys! your right it is a tonneau cover got a bit blown up as i think i was going a bit fast on the mountain. as for the respray the whole car would be painted, engine bay, boot ; carpets out the lot. We dont have a bake oven at work so would have to air dry with our heaters on, so i expect lots of buffing and polishing. Anyway i have a month off over winter so have lots of time. When i get my new reg plate i'll put up another pic.
