2nd hand oil cooler....don't do it.

I've often wondered who buys the secondhand oil coolers that I see on Evil bay.

When the engine on my race car went ballistic, the first thing I did was throw the oil cooler away!

as i said its less than 2 months old so the chance of it being blocked or faulty is pretty much non exsistant.and its of someone that i know. all i wanted to know was if it would fit on my midget.

Roy, see if it fits in the boxsection in front of the radiator.

Thats where mine was on my 1500.
There is a special(original?) bracket for it from Moss.

I dont think i have a picture of it anymore.
No oilcooler on the K (yet).

Roy,

You will need the sandwich plate, general opinion seems to be that it is a good mod to do on the 1500 but also you should be thinking about a thermostat as well, these are available as sepatate items or are incorporated into the sandwich plate.
