MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Indoor Car Cover

I have been using a "generic" indoor car cover from a Honda Accord - much too large but the price was right (i.e., free from a neighbor...) - but the ravages of time and generic wear & tear will force me to find a better fit. Anyone have any suggestions on brand, features, etc. from personal experience. I see a wide range of price from Moss to a low ball item from J.C. Whitney...

I have plenty of time until the Fall to find a replacement so I thought I would check in now for any buying tips...

Thanks for any information on this topic...

I have a Cover-Zone "voyager" cover which is a perfect fit. It claims to be an inside/outside cover but that claim does not hold (or rather repel) water. They are good snug fits though. http://www.cover-zone.com/

I have had 2 stormforce covers, the frst degraded badly in light and loosened the wing mirrors, I called them up and explained my problem and they sent a new cover (upgraded material) with mirror pockets free of further charge.

Highly recommended company, and excellent cover!!!

O.K. Guys - Thanks for the referrals and reviews...

It looks like the cost for a basic indoor dust cover is going to be in the range of $150 or so.

I will have a talk with the wife and see what she can do with a few high quality flannel sheets and a sharp pair of scissors. It would be nice to keep the cost and quality of the midget car cover to less than what I usually sleep on in the Master Bedroom...

It's a long time until next Fall - so I'll cruise a few web sites or wait for another Moss sale...

Just to close this thread out...

I found an eBay seller, possibly operating as the US branch outlet of a parent UK company is selling both indoor dust covers & in/outdoor car covers similar to "Cover Zone" products across The Pond. The US prices seem to be somewhat lower than ordering directly from UK - gotta love the current dollar to Euro exchange rates - possibly offset a little by the transportation costs to get their inventory here.

I don't have any skin in this game - so here is the eBay link below (Item Number: 200338518798) for what it may be worth...

I'll probably purchase their "Voyager" quality line based on the experience of Jim B. provided above. For another $15 or so, I am hoping to get a decent increment in quality above a bed sheet....

Chart-One-Auto also offers a line of full interior carpet kits which I am also considering for my '72 RWA Midget. I have NOT done a complete interior kit previously, so I may be creating a new thread sometime next week regarding some installation questions regarding glues and snaps, etc.

Thanks for the helpful comments on indoor car covers -I appreciate any & all comments...
