MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Crankcase pressure!

If my maths is right that is tiny (0.75 litres) and is useless for a motorsport application. For comparison, FISC rules demand a minimum 2 litre catch tank. I'm amazed that the seller claims to market to the motorsport community.

David's correct.

MSA requirement is 2L for engines up to 2L (3L for engines over 2L)for racers. For hillclimb and sprints it's a Litre.

Or no catch tank nad have a recirculating breather (back into the inlet system and burnt through the engine).

There's a shameful amount of stuff sold as suitable for motorsport that clearly isn't.

Isn't everything made for racing? what about the kids that have two thousand horsepower in mods by going to the local parts store and getting a new intake filter which adds 10 horsepower to their 60hp motor, then adding the new spark plugs which give you a 10% horsepower gain giving 77 horsepower, then 56 sticker claiming 3 horsepower each then all of the other bolt on crap which somehow takes the stock motor to two thousand horsepower claimed after you add the R sticker under the Hyundai badge. oh, do not forget to steal someone's rubbish bin for an exhaust system which would really be suited for "motorsport"

now do you see who they are marketing these motorsport items to?

The ideal catch tank for a midget is the washer bottle from a 1500. It's the right size and fits perfectly.
