MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Brake options ?

Hello all, I would like to upgrade my front brakes currently I have SS hoses and grooved front disks with green stuff pads, I'm still using the old Mark 2 midget master cylinder which needs rebuilding But I think I would rather go for the one from Sebring Sprite.
Now I have heard of people using MGB brakes is this possible but the other options I have been looking at are Magic Midget calipers or the setup from Frontline. Any advice would be welcome.

KAD makes a great 4 pot caliper....fairly reasonable on your side of the pond.....but avoid the 6 pot as it dosnt grip on the rite places

What are you looking to achieve from upgrading the brakes? What doesn't work as you would like it to now?

I fitted the later 1500 dual line M/C with a V split on the pipes.

Thanks gents, Richard the brakes are just far to soft brake fade doesn't seem a problem they where fine last year around Brands Hatch track day but I would like a little more bite but perhaps a new master cylinder would be best first.

The best thing I did with my brakes for hard driving was fit Mintex Extreme pads, but I will stress it was an upgrade to standard pads.

Peter May sell the Mintex pads. The 1144s are for road use, 1155s for competition.

I ordered 1144s and was given the Extreme type instead, have proved to be great on hard road use and fun days on airfields, I haven't done a full on track day with them yet.

I had big fade with EBC greenstuff pads. I now use 1155's with castrol srf fluid. I run drilled brembo standard size discs, rebuilt standard calipers and goodrich hoses. Very little fade on the track now, even after 2 years of use. Make sure you bed them in as per instructions though.

Shawn has it; I race with 155s and SRF fluid, no problems and I'm heavy on brakes.

I've still got some 10.25 inch AP Racing grooved brakes with alloy hubs and alloy calipers. I'm after trading down to the Peter May size units since these were a bit too ON-OFF for me. Fit inside Minilight 13 inch rims
