MG Midget and Sprite Technical - 1500 Radiator?
Hi, I'm in the process of repairing the front end on my 1500, while the filthy radiator is out I thought I'd have it checked & recored as I don't plan in removing it again in the near future. However I have just been quoted nearly £100 for a recore by a local company, which seems to be more than a new one. Can anyone recommend a company where I can get a new one from, are all the ones that mg spares places supply similar or would I be better going to a radiator specialist. Comments please? Thanks Kevin

If you're going to Stoneleigh on Sunday, I'll have a re-conned 1500 rad there for less than half that price.

personbally I'd flush it, clean the fins by reverse blowing with an airline, and go to nearest rad specialist to have it pressure tested. If it ain't broke don't fix it !

Thanks guys, the rad is going to have to wait for now, I've got the extra cost of a knackered wishbone pan to deal with know. Thanks
